This is just to keep the Keiru aware of the Empires newest plans. They will be black ops so I will refrain from posting too much information, but this will let all of you know where Aramus and company are headed.

Antridyus will be soon ordering the construction of a top secret aeronaval shipyard east southeast of Militus bordering the Dark Wood. This will take quite some time to complete. In addition to this new project, the empire will be employing many subsidiary plans. These implementations will also be held in the utmost secrecy. Only the top brass of the Empire will know of them. They are as follows.

1) All academies within Nyliam proper are to devote their senior classes specializing in Engineering and Weapons Development to this project. Schools such as the Royal Nyliam Magistrate Academy (Aramus' alma matter), University of Nyliam, Militus Military Academy, etc. Only the top 10% of these students will have any idea as to what they are really working on. The remaining students of the relevant fields will just be given small problematic parts of the operation. For instance, mechanical engineers will be instructed to design a bulk head that can withstand so much torque and vibrations at such a frequency. Designers will complete only sections of an airframe. Weapon developers will be told to design a mount that will attach to a specific weapon platform. Just think Kaiser Soszay (sp?). No one but the top few will no who they are working for or what they are really developing.

2) The shipyard itself will be created to construct a new airship design. Designs will be derived from old Imperial plans of the captured Balanum airship. These plans will be modified by the above mentioned students and researched further at the facility itself. The shipyard will be built under maximum scrutiny and its outlying areas will be patrolled frequently by heavy military battalions. In this sense, just think of area 51.... except the guards don't have guns.

3) Antridyus' entire regiment of magi will undergo research of ways to refine Dralar and fuse it with steel to create a very strong, light weight alloy. (Airship Armor). This feat alone will take nearly as much time as the construction of the facility.

4) Lastly, due to imperial engineers designs, this will not be a standard balloon floated vessel. It will be steam engine powered with propeller propulsion. This also includes the use of propellers for lift. Due to this fact, the vessel will frequently be groundbased for refueling and maintanance. Also, due to the elimination of the balloon for air boyancy, the Nylian airship(s) will have greatly reduced range in comparison of the existing airship. However, it will be a BIGG'UN.

If the empire gets involved in any skirmishes, it will only serve to slow the development process as resources will be needed elsewhere. If any Keiru wishes to voice any concerns over these plans or to outright ban me from doing so, please, feel free to do so here! Thank you for your time.

Oh Shit willis... not the choppa!!! In all seriousness, I don't forsee having anything finished until a time at which Aramus will consent to Victor's plea that Linerin is not such a nice guy. Until that day arrives... *grind* Nyliam will just be hard at work.
